Goguen Custom Painting

As a kid, I would draw cars and boats, mostly race boats. I always had a love of cars, bikes, boats and racing. In 1986, I started driving 18 wheelers and in 1989, at age 21, I started racing hydroplanes and did that until 2003.

The team raced in all classes from small 2.5 litres to the Grand-Prix class. In 1997 we won the 2.5 litres Hydroplanes Canadian High Point Championship driving for Ralph Barker of Grand Island NY.

As a racer interested in cool custom paint jobs, I painted my first race helmet and then started designing and painting race boats. The idea of creating my business grew from there. Goguen Custom Painting has been established since January 2003 and built a new shop next to the house in Cocagne, NB.

My wife takes care of the office. We have the help of Junior Collette, an expert body man, for any fixes or modifications to the body of all types of vehicles.
